The Artists’ House is an immaculate 3 bedroom residence situated beside the rice paddys, at the edge of the sleepy village of Dandos Wadda, in the Mandrem area of North Goa, India. The huge verandah offers spectacular views of the sun rising across the adjacent fields, emerald green with rice from June to October, and bright with a colourful range of vegetables from November to May.
3 bed house sleeps up to 8 people / ensuite bathrooms / a/c / fully-equipped kitchen / laundry / tv & dvd / internet connection on request / self-catering / daily housekeeping / paddling/dipping pool / parking space / idyllic setting next to the paddy fields / 8 mins drive to the beach
The house has been lovingly designed and furnished by two renowned Goan artists using works of art of their own creation and many sublime pieces of antique furniture sourced from across the Indian subcontinent.
With 3700sq ft of floor space, the house provides more than enough room for a comfortable, extended stay. The ground floor comprises a 130 sq.ft. veranda (which overlooks the fields and the small swimming pool), a large living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a painting studio with lots of light (guests are welcome to try their hand on the canvas!). On the first floor are three immaculate bedrooms all with incredible, mosaic-tiled, ensuite bathrooms.
Included in any stay at The Artists’ House is a maid who will attend to guests’ wishes wherever possible. Housekeeping duties may also include preparation of breakfast and Goan dishes as required.
